Brine spilled, contained in Williams County

A valve leak spilled about 342 barrels of brine, or salt water, Thursday at a well about 14 miles southwest of Alamo in Williams County, the Department of Mineral Resources reported Friday.
All the liquid was contained and recovered at the HRC Operating LLC well, and a state inspector has been sent to the site.
