After two burglaries occurred on Dickinson's east side Monday, two happened in Valley City on Thursday and police believe they could be related.
"They were similar ... because similar items were taken," said Sgt. Dan Brown of the Dickinson Police Department.
The burglars could be making their way east across the state.
"Bismarck had two burglaries too, during the week sometime," Brown said. "They were similar, simply because of home burglaries and stuff taken."
Police identified possible suspects in the Valley City burglaries as a Native American or Hispanic male and an unidentified female.

There is a chance a gray or black vehicle was involved, possibly a Mercedes Benz.
Brown said Monday's burglaries in Dickinson along with the Bismarck and Valley City ones could be related. Police don't believe two break-ins reported Tuesday in Dickinson are related to the others.
