MANDAN (AP) -- A 56-year-old California man has been arrested, suspected of delivering drugs after a North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper said he found 72 pounds of marijuana in the man's car.
A written release from the patrol says the trooper stopped Michael Joseph Rosen's vehicle Monday afternoon for speeding on Interstate 94 in Mandan. Shortly after the stop, the trooper requested a drug-sniffing dog, which indicated drugs inside the vehicle.
A search revealed 72 pounds of heat-sealed bags of marijuana in the vehicle. Authorities say Rosen, of Redondo Beach, Calif., was the only person in the vehicle.
