MINOT -– Minot police arrested a man Tuesday at the Minot Air Force Base in connection with several child pornography charges.
Jessi L. Sweig, 21, Minot, is charged in North Central Judicial District Court with promoting an obscene sexual performance by a minor, a Class A felony, and 10 counts of possession of child pornography, a Class C felony.
Minot police searched an address in northeast Minot on Feb. 1 in connection with an investigation of child pornography, Capt. John Klug said in a news release.
Police seized electronic devices and found numerous images of child pornography, Klug said.
Minot police arrested Sweig on Tuesday afternoon at the Minot Air Force Base in cooperation with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the Ward County Sheriff’s Office.

Sweig is being held in the Ward County Jail awaiting a court appearance.
