Clare Veronica Raunig, 68, Liberty, Mo., passed away June 12, 2007, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Clare was born in Sheffield and graduated from the St. Mary's High School in New England.

She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church. Clare was employed with Farmland Industries for many years. Clare loved to garden and raise flowers. She especially enjoyed time with and cooking for her grandchildren. Clare was a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Harold Raunig; son, Michael (Lisa) Raunig, Olathe, Kan.; daughter, Jamie Raunig, Kansas City, Mo.; brother, Richard (Lorraine) Selinger, Dickinson; sisters, Bernie (Harold) Winden, Fort Benton, Mont., Mary (Jim) Neville, Leawood, Kan., and Marcie (Ron) Tessier, Dickinson; sister-in-law, Arlene Selinger, Mandan; three grandchildren, Kyle, Emily and Carly Raunig, all of Olathe; nine nephews; and 10 nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Barbara Selinger; a brother, George Selinger; and a nephew, Brian Winden.
