One of the many things that Clarence loved was baseball.
His position was pitcher, which he had the honor to play with the state champions of North Dakota in 1949; baseball was a big sport in our area.
Horses were a joy for his children; most of the time Clarence would set a time to quit work so all the children would have time to get a horse ride before dinner.

The postman would bundle up the mail and Clarence would drop it off at the farmsteads around the area. Building remote controlled airplanes was a great joy that his sons and grandsons got to enjoy for years; there were many air shows attended and many planes built together.
