Construction begins Monday on a part of Third Avenue West, also know as state Highway 22, between 12th Street West and 15th Street West in Dickinson.
Construction consists of grading and construction of turn lanes, the North Dakota Department of Transportation stated in a release.
During construction, speeds will be reduced to 25 mph, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction at various times and motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route.
The project is expected to be complete by fall.
