WAHPETON (AP) -- Authorities say a car slid into a sugar beet truck in Wahpeton, killing one person and injuring another.
The victims names have not yet been released.
Highway Patrol Trooper Keith Huwe says it happened around 9 p.m. at Wahpeton's 4th Street and Highway 210 bypass. He said it appears the driver of the car saw the stop sign at the last second, tried to brake, and slid into the semi.
