GRAND FORKS—Grand Forks police on Wednesday, Oct. 10, identified the body found Tuesday morning on Washington Street as 25-year-old Tyler Rodriguez of Grand Forks.

A passerby called police around 10 a.m. because a man was lying outside a vacant house at 720 Washington St. A press release said Rodriguez was dead when police arrived.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and they have not determined how Rodriquez died. Sgt. Travis Benson said there is no risk to the public and foul play is not suspected.

Rodriquez is the second body found in Grand Forks in the past week. On Saturday, the body of a woman was found in Lincoln Drive Park during a highs school cross-country meet. Police said the investigation is ongoing but foul play was not believed to be a factor in her death, either.
