MANDAN, N.D. — Police say a Mandan woman sold more than half a ton of marijuana between March 2018 and April 2019, when they found 170 pounds of pot in her rented storage unit and $150,000 cash in her car.
Megan Isaak, 24, was charged Friday, Nov. 29, with six felonies, four of which could send her to prison for 20 years each if she’s convicted. She was arrested in Stark County in April after police suspected she had stopped at her Mandan storage unit to get cash for a marijuana purchase, an affidavit says.
A search of the vehicle revealed about $150,000 in cash, with which Isaak allegedly said she was planning to buy a box — 100 pounds — of marijuana. Police also found 170 pounds of pot in her storage unit, the affidavit says. Police also found 93 grams of ecstasy, 910 grams of THC wax and 99 doses of LSD during the search of the storage unit, according to the affidavit.
Mercedes Beito, 23, of Bismarck, and Colby Dolan, 24, of Olalaska, Wash., are listed as co-defendants. Isaak told police Beito supplied her with the THC wax, according to the affidavit. Beito is charged with conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, court documents show.
