Darlene Rangitsch, 64, Kent, Wash., died at her home on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007.
Darlene's memorial services are at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at Dahl Funeral Chapel, Billings, with a reception following.
Interment of ashes is in Sunset Memorial Gardens following the reception.
Darlene was born Aug. 13, 1943, in Wink, Texas, the daughter of Robert G. and Willadean N. (Russell) McCracken.
With her father being in the service, she lived in various places, finally settling in Billings, where she attended Billings Senior High.

Darlene married Edwin Rangitsch in Columbus, Mont. They later divorced.
Darlene went on to obtain her GED and continued her education, graduating from Eastern Montana College (now MSU-B) with a masters in elementary education.
She worked for a janitorial service in the Transwestern Building, and also was a school bus driver. She continued her education in library science.
In the early 90s, Darlene moved to Seattle, where she taught school, and most recently worked as a library tech at Highlands Community College.
Darlene is survived by her ex-husband, Edwin; daughter, Christine (Bruce) Ketterling, Billings, and their children, Lyle (Marty) Ketterling, Nathalie (Christopher) Payne, Alex (CJ) Kiefer, Alyssa Kiefer, Casie (Steve) Hissum, Charlie (Stephanie) Ketterling and David Ketterling; son, Mikel (Donna) Rangitsch, Dickinson, and their children, Jessica Finneman, Jamie and Jerae Rangitsch and Brandon Schieffer; son, Kenneth (Mary) Rangitsch, Billings, and their children, Kaitlyn, Keith and Kevin Rangitsch, Allicia, Amanda and Kara Wright; great-grandchildren, Ethan Finneman, Christopher Payne and Dawson Shelby; Darlene is also expecting five additional great-grandchildren; brother Richard McCracken; two aunts; and numerous nieces; nephews; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Stephen.
