WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) -- A judge has set a March 27 deadline for a plea agreement in a Wahpeton stabbing case.
Patrick Wolfgram has been in custody since last October on $500,000 bail. The 24-year-old Wahpeton man is accused of repeatedly stabbing a 26-year-old neighbor as she smoked outside their apartment building.
Prosecutors said late last year that a mental evaluation had found Wolfgram competent to stand trial for attempted murder. KFGO radio reports that Judge Richard Grosz has set aside five days should the case go to trial.
