Taylor Braunberger raced to a fourth-place finish in 15 minutes, 13 seconds and the Dickinson boys and girls cross country teams both finished in fourth place on Saturday at the Mandan Kiwanis meet.
Bismarck won the boys meet with 59 points. The Midgets had 116. Minot took top honors in the girls meet with 43 points. Dickinson had 89 points.
"Taylor ran really well," Dickinson coach Jerry Schwartz said. "She was really happy with her race. She really had an exceptional race."
Jake Braunberger had the best time for the Dickinson boys with an 11th place finish in 17:18.
Sam Larson of Jamestown won the boys meet in 16:04. Melanie Funke of Minot took top honors on the girls side in 14:35. Larson and Funke also won their respective races at Dickinson's Becki Wells Invitational last Saturday.

Billie Herauf (15:38) and Dakota Wolf (15:54) finished 14th and 17th, respectively for the Midgets girls. It was Herauf's best finish of the season.
Zachary Davis was the only other Dickinson boys runner to finish in the top 20. Davis was 16th with a time of 17:41.
"Overall, we had kind of an average day," Schwartz said.
