FARGO -- Dickinson has just two girls tennis players remaining in the North Dakota state tournament.
The doubles team of Tiffany Reisenauer and Chelsey Galipeau won its first two matches on Friday to advance to the this morning's semifinals, where they'll face Williston duo Rachel Hennessy and Taren Jundt, who are the top-seeded team out of the West Region. They play at 10:30 a.m. CDT at Courts Plus.
"But of course, who else would we get?" Dickinson coach Kristal Fields said. "This isn't going to be an easy road."
The Dickinson duo and the Williston duo have met on several occasions but the Midgets have never been able to walk away victorious.
That likely won't bother Reisenauer and Galipeau though.

"They like the challenge," Fields said.
Reisenauer and Galipeau swept the young Fargo South duo of Karen Moe and Rachel McGuigan 6-0, 6-0 in the opening round.
They then survived a test from West Fargo's Beth Anderson and Sadie Doggett in the quarterfinals but came out on top 6-4, 6-7 (5-7) 6-4 to advance to the semifinals.
"They hit a buzzsaw when they ran into West Fargo, but they managed to get around that one," Fields said.
In singles action, Dickinson's Caitlin Dunn lost both of her matches and was eliminated from competition.
Grand Forks Central's Megan Sween topped Dunn 6-0, 6-2 while Grand Forks Red River's Morgan Smith earned a 6-1, 6-2 victory in the elimination round.
"She just couldn't seem to get into a groove and just couldn't figure out how to get things under control," Fields said.
