Dickinson Kids Water Festival to be held Thursday, Friday

The State Water Commission is holding the Dickinson Water Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Dickinson Recreation Center.
The educational event promote awareness and appreciation of water resources through a variety of activities. The State Water Commission, along with its many coordinators, will be teaching area fifth-grade students as they participate in hands-on activities showcasing the different aspects of water and its importance.
Family Night is scheduled for 4-7 p.m. Thursday. It’s a free event featuring food, games, music and learning all about water. There will be inflatable games and a photo booth.
