A 33-year-old Dickinson was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital Thursday afternoon following a crash on Interstate 94, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Christopher Dschaak was driving a 1990 Kenworth semi truck east from near Fryburg when a tire blew out four miles west of Dickinson, according to a NDHP press release.

Dschaak swerved and struck the north side of the median and crossed over the westbound lanes of I-94 and rolled. He was ejected from the vehicle.

The semi blocked the driver's side westbound lane of I-94, which was closed for about 30 minutes while the scene was cleaned up, according to the release.
