FARGO -- A Dickinson man was sentenced Monday to 12-and-a-half years in federal prison for the robbery of Northland Financial bank in Medina.
Rendell Charles Hardy, 41, and co-defendant Satrone Rashard Boyd, 38, were convicted of robbing the bank wearing Halloween masks on Oct. 25, 2013. Hardy, armed with a handgun, demanded money from bank employees. The two then fled in a stolen vehicle.
Surveillance video of Jamestown’s Star Lite Motel showed the men throwing the masks and a set of keys into a dumpster. Officers later apprehended Hardy in Dickinson.
