The Dickinson Park Board will begin considering the possibility for an 18-hole golf course to be built in the city at its next meeting in August.
A landscape planning firm submitted a 78-page analysis to determine the economic viability of the proposed Dickinson golf course to the board at the end of June.
Park and Recreation Director James Kramer said at a meeting Friday that the board is not ready for formal approval of the study, but will be set to look at the report for final approval in August.
“This is a document that will prepare us going forward with any discussions as far as future golf courses,” he said.
