The Dorcas Fall Benefit is featuring birdhouses as the table centerpieces this year.
The benefit is from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Dickinson Elks Lodge.
"The birdhouses represent every month," said member Juanita Koppinger.
The birdhouses come from the private collections of the members. The Halloween-themed house represents October, while a school is for September and the churches depict June as wedding month.
"I've been trying to find placements to match them," she said.

One of Koppinger's favorite birdhouses is ornately decorated with jewelry.
"It's so original it stands by itself," she said.
August doesn't have any holidays, so Koppinger is arranging the theme of "Gone Fishing."
Dorcas is a group of 25 women who sponsor fundraisers to help families in need throughout the Dickinson area.
"We help the families at Thanksgiving and Christmas and with special needs, like if somebody needs glasses," she said.
Koppinger is a cosmetologist at Hairport. One of her clients spoke so highly of the organization that she expressed an interest in joining.
"This community is very generous," she said. "I consider myself a middle man. I deliver what other people have given. The families really appreciate what help is given for them."
