The North Dakota Department of Transportation issued a no travel advisory for portions of central and eastern North Dakota at abotu 1:20 this afternoon. The advisory includes highways in the Jamestown, Cooperstown, Valley City, Casselton, Fargo, Hillsboro, Mayville and the Buxton areas. This also includes: I-94 from Jamestown to Fargo and I-29 from Fargo to Buxton.

Heavy snow and blowing snow is reducing visibility and causing areas of compacted snow and ice covered roads. These conditions are creating hazardous driving conditions, according to the DOT.
