WILLISTON, N.D. – The Williams County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred Tuesday night near Williston.
The incident occurred about 8:30 p.m. at the corner of 141st Street and 52nd Avenue in Williams County, the sheriff’s office said.
Two women were sitting in a Buick LeSabre that was parked with the headlights off near the roadway when a silver or tan pickup drove by. An individual in the pickup fired two gunshots that struck the Buick, the sheriff’s office said.
Neither woman was struck with a bullet, but one woman suffered injuries from the shattered glass. An individual passing by the area reported the incident after being stopped by the women, authorities said.
