VALLEY CITY - A car failed to stop for a stop sign here Monday morning and collided with a school bus carrying children.

No one was hurt in the crash, which occurred about 8 a.m. at an intersection in downtown Valley City, said Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson.

Thompson said the driver of the car was cited for failing to yield.

He said the bus was carrying grade-school children of various ages.
