GRAND FORKS (AP) -- Authorities say the driver of a car involved in fatal crash off Interstate 29 in Grand Forks County likely will be cited for failing to yield.
The 83-year-old driver and an 87-year-old passenger are from Minto. The Highway Patrol says the passenger died after the car failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a vehicle after exiting I-29. The driver was taken to a hospital.
The two men in the vehicle are related, but their names were not immediately released after the crash about 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
An earlier report incorrectly identified the men in the car as being from Minot.
