Dickinson State University has filled its provost and vice president for academic affairs position.
DSU President Thomas Mitzel announced Monday that candidate Carmen Wilson, the chief executive officer and dean of the University of Wisconsin-Rock County, has been appointed to the administrative role. In addition to her work at UW-Rock County, Wilson is a consultant evaluator for the Higher Learning Commission, North Central Association.
“As an administrator with extensive leadership experience, I am deeply familiar with the values of personal attention, community collaboration, and faculty and staff excellence that are part of the ethos of Dickinson State University,” she stated Monday in a DSU release. “I am looking forward to leading this outstanding public, comprehensive institution, to its next level of excellence as we serve students from a wide spectrum of life situations.”
