A judge will hear argument over whether to seal a case involving the Dickinson State University Foundation on Monday.
Granville “Beaver” Brinkman and a group of his companies are bringing suit against the DSU Foundation and others for allegedly pushing him out of the management of Hawks Point, a senior living facility on the DSU campus.
Brinkman was removed as managing member of Dickinson Investments, LLC - which created Hawks Point - without ample warning or due cause, which violates the contract, he alleges in the suit.
The hearing will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Stark County Courthouse under Southwest Judicial District Judge William Herauf.
