The Dickinson State softball team will learn today if its season will continue at the NAIA national championships.

The NAIA announces the 20-team tournament pool pairings this afternoon. The tournament begins Friday in Decatur, Ala.

The Blue Hawks do not receive an automatic bid to the tournament because they did not win the NAIA Region III championship.

However, they are ranked eighth in the nation. And, if all falls as it is suspected, DSU is likely to receive one of the tournament's seven at-large bids. Thirteen region champions also advance to the tournament.
