Dickinson State men's basketball coach Ty Orton said Monday his team shouldn't be in the NAIA Division II Top 25 poll after losing its second and third consecutive games over the past weekend.
Turns out, the votes thought so too.
The Blue Hawks (14-10) dropped out of the poll Monday after being ranked No. 25 last week. They received votes, however.
Black Hills State (21-4), which defeated the Blue Hawks on Saturday, remained at No. 6 in the poll.
Oklahoma Wesleyan became the fourth team to be ranked No. 1 in the poll this season. The Eagles are 22-2.
