MINOT - The Dickinson State men's cross country team won the Minot State Invitational on Friday at Souris Golf Course.
The Blue Hawks had a 32 as a team after John Kungu took third place in 26 minutes, 42.06 seconds and Sergio Campso took fifth at 27:28.79.
However, it wasn't an 8,000 kilometer race. According to Dickinson State coach Thadd O'Donnell, the men's race ended up being longer than that.
"The times aren't real accurate," O'Donnell said. "But it was good to get out and race, see where we are condition wise."
The Dickinson State women took third while Jamestown College won by six minutes.
