Dickinson State University's students decorated Wienbergen Hall gymnasium for the school's eighth annual Boo Hawks event. On Halloween, they dressed up to pass out candy to trick or treaters. Although the event is intended for families with children in the sixth grade or below, everyone is welcome to attend, and admission is free. Kids up to age 12 participated in a coloring contest, which they turned in upon arrival at the gym. The university will give prizes to first place winners in each category. The winners will be contacted next week.
