MANNING -- Law enforcement at the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office have received several awards, according to a press release.
The Department of Defense recognized Sheriff Clayton Coker with the Patriot Award in support of two county deputies who serve with the North Dakota c. He was nominated by Guard Staff Sgt. Daniell Sigloh of the 164th Regional Training Institute in Devils Lake and Spec. David Klatt, who serves in the 815th Engineer Company in Edgeley.
Sgts. Matthew Hegstad and Joshua Chadbourn, the two Dunn County deputies in the Guard, also received the award.
“We are proud to present such honors to these whose support is critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s National Guard and Reserve units,” said Uma Hoffman, a Dickinson volunteer for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.
The office also received the Above and Beyond Award, which acknowledges support toward employees it shares with the military.
