BISMARCK (AP) -- North Dakota's crazy weather pattern continues. After a day of 80-degree temperatures, the state got a dusting of snow.
The National Weather Service has no reports of major accumulation. Snow has been falling mainly in the southern part of the state, with a light dusting in the Bismarck area.
The snow followed Thursday's highs of 80 degrees in Bismarck, 87 in Linton and 86 in Wishek. Friday's highs are expected only around 40.
National Weather Service meteorologist Len Peterson says April snow is not unheard of in North Dakota. He says the state has had snow even in May.
A gradual warm-up is expected through the weekend.
