FARGO (AP) -- Broadcaster Ed Schultz says he's ending his morning show on a Lisbon radio station.
The liberal talk show host, whose "The Ed Show" is on MSNBC from New York, has been hosting a show from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Lisbon station KQLX. He announced on the air that Tuesday's show would be his last.
A group that includes Fargo conservative radio talk show host Scott Hennen, a former Schultz competitor and political adversary, announced in July that it was buying KQLX. Hennen introduced Schultz at a Fargo news conference to promote his new show on KQLX FM.
Lisbon, with about 2,300 people, is southwest of Fargo.
Schultz also has a nationally syndicated radio show in the afternoon. He had a longtime show on Fargo's KFGO-AM before leaving the station in April.
