Edward Alfred Hehn, Prineville, Ore., passed away at home at the age of 80 on Aug. 22, 2006. after an extended illness.
He was born Aug. 18, 1926, in Dickinson, to Jakob and Julianna Hehn.
He married LaDonna Mae Burda on Jan. 15, 1950, and they moved to Prineville shortly after that. Mr. Hehn graduated from Dickinson High School in 1942 and served in the U.S Navy in WW II. He graduated from the University of Montana in 1948 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He worked as a sales manager for Consolidated Pine, Hudspeth Pine, and Hudspeth Sales and Service before being promoted to general manager of Hudspeth Pine.
He was a life-time member of the Prineville Golf and Country Club and Prineville BPOE.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing; but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, LaDonna; brother, Jacob Hehn, Fort Collins, Colo.; two daughters, Stephanie Cleveland, Eugene, and Candis Clemens, Bend; two sons, Dr. Craig Hehn and wife Linda, Prineville, and Jeff Hehn and wife JoLee, Bend; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at his home in September. Memorial contributions may be made to either Prineville Hospice or Crook County Park & Recreation Foundation Swim & Activity Center.
