BISMARCK -- Jon Eide has been announced as the newest North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper to be stationed in Dickinson.

Eide, who is currently participating in the field training program, completed basic training at the Highway Patrol academy, according to Col. Jim Prochniak, superintendent of the state’s Highway Patrol.

Eide earned a bachelor’s degree from Minot State University.
