Extra patrol out for Labor Day weekend

BISMARCK -- The North Dakota Highway Patrol will conduct extra patrols and sobriety checkpoints in an effort to boost traffic safety during the Labor Day weekend.

BISMARCK - The North Dakota Highway Patrol will conduct extra patrols and sobriety checkpoints in an effort to boost traffic safety during the Labor Day weekend.
Troopers statewide will work overtime to extend their patrol hours. Sobriety checkpoints will be set up in Burke, Cass, Ward and Williams counties, while alcohol saturation patrols will take place in Stark and Dunn counties, a news release stated.
Troopers in Minot also are providing public education and rollover simulator demonstrations.
