Correction
United States Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., did not say a 2007 farm bill without lower annual payment limits to farmers runs the risk of defeat when it comes to the full Senate, as stated in Thursday's Press editorial.
Mr. Dorgan instead said not includ-ing some reasonable payment limits in the 2007 farm bill will erode public support for it.
