Fight with ex-girlfriend leads to Dickinson man's arrest on multiple charges

Philip Prescott of Dickinson was arrested on charges of terrorizing, domestic violence, criminal trespassing and burglary Monday night after a fight with his ex-girlfriend got out of control.

Philip Prescott of Dickinson was arrested on charges of terrorizing, domestic violence, criminal trespassing and burglary Monday night after a fight with his ex-girlfriend got out of control.

Prescott, 26, allegedly went to his ex-girlfriend’s home at the 1700 block of Abraham Parkway, kicked down her door and took her property. He also had left threatening voice messages directed at both her and her boyfriend, and wrote threats on her Facebook page.

Capt. Dave Wilkie with the Dickinson Police Department said Prescott was warned by police that he wasn’t supposed to be on the property.

Man arrested after stealing guns

The Southwest Narcotics Task Force arrested Terry Fussell Jr., 48, of Dickinson on Monday for burglary.

Fussell was in possession of two rifles and a shotgun that he had stolen from a residence.

The Dickinson Police Department assisted in the arrest.
