Firefighters put out hay bales that are on fire along Interstate 94 near Medora Wednesday afternoon. Capt. Tony Huck with the North Dakota Highway patrol said the bales started on fire on the back of a semitrailer heading west for unknown reasons. The bales were then pushed off the truck into the ditch where they were extinguished. Huck said a call was placed to officers around noon Wednesday. He wasn't sure of damage costs yet.
