Theodore Roosevelt National Park will “GO WILD!” this weekend as it celebrates National Park Week.
The north and south units will offer free entrance Saturday and Sunday to commemorate the event celebrating nature, history and wildlife, according to a press release.
“National Park Week is an excellent time to visit the park to see spring returning to the Badlands,” Park Superintendent Valerie Naylor said in the release. “This is a great week to see the first wildflowers of the year and the newborn bison and horses.”
A variety of short national park movies will be shown in the South Unit Visitor Center over the weekend. National Park Week runs April 19-27.
