GRAND FORKS (AP) -- A Grand Forks woman faces three felonies after an incident in which she allegedly broadcast pornography from the window of her home, allowing the images and noises on her television to be seen and heard from a nearby elementary school.

Thirty-seven-year-old Nicole Altendorf is accused of biting a police officer's arm, kicking him several times in the groin as he tried to put her in a squad car Friday and spitting in his face.

Altendorf's attorney, Ted Sandberg, told a magistrate that his client does not have a significant criminal past and that "this is an isolated incident."

Altendorf posted $4,000 bail and was released from jail. She is due back in court Nov. 16 on three felony charges: simple assault of an officer, contact by bodily fluids and preventing arrest.
