WASHINGTON -- North Dakota’s Congressional delegation announced Monday that the Federal Aviation Administration has awarded $180,000 to the Glen Ullin Municipal Airport Authority.
The funds are to conduct an aeronautical survey for area navigation (RNAV) approach. RNAV is a navigational method that can reduce congestion, conserve flight distance and allow flights into airports without beacons.
The Oakes Municipal Airport Authority also received $39,600 in awards.
