Goodman leads Hawks at NDSU

FARGO -- Dominic Goodman was the only two-event winner for Dickinson State at the Bison Classic. He won the long jump and the triple jump.

Goodman, a freshman from the Bahamas, had a leap of 46 feet, 6¾ inches in the triple jump and went 23-0½ in the long jump.

Jamal Forbes won the 60-meter run in 6.91 seconds and took second in the 200 at 22.45, just .01 behind former North Dakota State star Marques Johnston, who was running unattached.

Roosevelt Curry and Jace Felde took first and second, respectively, in the high jump at 6-4. Sergio Jimenez won the 1,000 in 2:31.30.

The Blue Hawks' 1,600-meter relay team took top honors in 3:20.60.

Rose Jepkioroi had the best finish of the day for the Blue Hawk women, taking second in the 3,000 with a time of 10:34.52.
