MINOT (AP) -- Amtrak on Wednesday was resuming normal operations between Minot and Havre, Mont., after a grain train derailment east of Williston disrupted service earlier in the week.
Train passengers had to be bused the 400-mile stretch between the two cities on Monday and Tuesday.
BNSF Railway spokeswoman Amy McBeth told the Minot Daily News that 32 cars loaded with corn derailed about 3 a.m. Monday. The train had a total of 108 cars and three locomotives. No one was hurt. The cause of the wreck is being investigated.
