Grand Forks man recovering after Christmas snowmobile crash

FOSSTON, Minn. - A 35-year-old Grand Forks man is in stable condition after a snowmobile accident on Christmas.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Joshua Ray Lavoi was injured about 3:05 p.m. Friday after the snowmobile he was operating struck a road approach in Rosebud Township near Fosston.
Lavoi was taken by ambulance to Essentia Hospital in Fosston, where he was in stable condition, a news release states.
Officials are investigating the cause of the accident.
The Minnesota State Patrol and Essentia Ambulance also responded to the accident.
