The House has passed a watered-down version of the bill to allow people with concealed weapons permits to have guns on North Dakota college campuses.

The House has passed a watered-down version of the bill to allow people with concealed weapons permits to have guns on North Dakota college campuses.

House Bill 1348 had been amended so that the weapons would be allowed only in a campus apartment and its associated parking lot. They would not be allowed in dormitories or sorority and fraternity houses.

The vote was 48-46.
