BOULDER, Colo. -- Dickinson State's men's cross country team finished third in the non-Division I race at the Rocky Mountain Invitational on Saturday.
The Blue Hawks finished third in their race and fifth out of all schools, with senior John Kungu placing 23rd overall and 10th in his race with a time of 27 minutes, 8 seconds.
The Blue Hawks grouped together, with all five of their scoring runners finishing in the top 20.
"We ran well as a group," O'Donnell said. "Coming in third at this meet was an accomplishment."
The DSU women were fifth in their race. Rose Jepkirui came in 12th overall with a time of 22:40, which was fourth for all non-Division I competitors.
