LAMONI, Iowa -- The Dickinson State volleyball team extended its unbeaten streak to nine by opening the Pizza Shack Invitational at Graceland (Iowa) University with a pair of four-game victories.
The No. 5-ranked Blue Hawks (9-0) beat Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) 30-16, 32-30, 30-23, 30-21 and beat Missouri Baptist 29-31, 30-18, 30-17, 31-29.
Nancy Nyongesa had 34 kills and 25 digs over the two matches. Judith Boel walked away with 29 kills, 10 blocks and seven aces.
