GLADSTONE - A Hettinger man was killed when the semi truck he was driving left the road near Gladstone and crashed Wednesday afternoon, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said in a report released Thursday.
Jared Lewton, 45, was driving a 1996 Kenworth semi pulling a flatbed trailer and driving northbound on a county road about 3 miles north of Gladstone when the vehicle entered the ditch and the driver attempted to correct, causing the truck to roll.
Lewton died at the scene, according to the Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened about 3:19 p.m. Wednesday. No other details were available.
