I-94 now open from Dickinson to Montana border

The North Dakota Department of Transportationand North Dakota Highway Patrol announced at about 11 a.m. that westbound Interstate 94 from Dickinson to the Montana border is now open.

The North Dakota Department of Transportationand North Dakota Highway Patrol announced at about 11 a.m. that westbound Interstate 94 from Dickinson to the Montana border is now open.

The Interstate from Dickinson to Mandan remains closed, according to a press release. Highway 2 is also closed from Williston east to Ray due to heavy snow. A no travel avisory remains in effect in the western region and a travel alert remains in place for the eastern region of the state.

Motorists are cautioned to be alert to changing conditions, according to the release.

Call 511 for travel updates. If motorists become stranded they should stay with their vehicle and call 911 for assistance.
