Travelers driving certain areas of 30th Avenue West and 21st Street West could experience delays, according to a press release.
The City of Dickinson announced Friday that construction is expected to begin on the interim bypass “in the near future.” The project includes grading and paving on the east leg of the 21st Street intersection and the east leg of the 15th Street intersection. Workers will also grade and do earthwork in rural areas of the bypass along 33rd Street West.
Drivers should watch for signs placed in construction areas. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction in the urban section of the bypass. Speeds will also be reduced to 25 mph.
Dickinson Public Information Coordinator Lydia DeJesus was not sure when construction would be completed on the project.
